CSHC is for self-funded retirees over Age Pension age who are not eligible for the pension. Income test only (no asset test) — about $99k/yr single, $158k combined couple (indexed September). Cuts the cost of PBS scripts to $7.70 each, plus state concessions on rates, electricity and transport.
