Official Sources

Every form in FormFinder links to its own official source, and that source is shown on the form inside the app. Most sources are official Australian government websites — federal, state, territory and local. Some forms are handled by a non-government body responsible for them — a professional or registration board, an industry certification body, an ombudsman or complaints service, or a support organisation — and FormFinder links to that body's official site.

FormFinder is an independent directory and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any government agency.

Below is every distinct source domain the current FormFinder catalogue links to, grouped by type. Each domain links to its official website so you can verify it directly. Government sources use the .gov.au domain; non-government official bodies are listed separately and never presented as government. Every form in the catalogue has been checked against its official source.

Note: some Australian government websites restrict access from outside Australia. Every link on this page is verified as working from within Australia.

Local government

FormFinder's forms link to federal, state and territory sources. Local council matters — reporting a pothole, a broken streetlight, illegal dumping — are handled through the in-app Council Reporter, which finds your specific council and drafts the report to them directly, rather than through a fixed form source. That's why individual councils don't appear as form-source domains above.

Non-government

Non-government official bodies

Professional and registration boards, industry certification bodies, ombudsman and complaints services, and support organisations that are the official source for their forms. These are not government agencies, and FormFinder does not present them as such.

135 federal and 251 state & territory government sources, plus 215 non-government official bodies — 601 official sources in total. Inside the app, each form displays its own official source link so you always know exactly where a form comes from.
