Allows eligible South Australians aged 60 or over who work fewer than 20 hours per week to apply for the SA Seniors Card, which provides free Adelaide Metro travel and discounts at hundreds of businesses.

How to apply
- Confirm you are aged 60 or over and a permanent SA resident who works fewer than 20 hours per week in paid employment (average over 12 months for irregular workers).
- Choose your application method: online at seniorscard.sa.gov.au or by picking up a paper form from an SA public library.
- For online applications: complete the form at seniorscard.sa.gov.au/membership/apply-for-a-seniors-card — applications accepted up to 7 days before your 60th birthday.
- For paper applications: complete the form, sign it in the presence of a witness aged 18+ who is not a relative, and have the witness sight your proof-of-age document (birth certificate, driver's licence, or passport).
- Submit the paper form by post to the Seniors Card Unit or return it to the library where you collected it.
- Once approved, your Seniors Card is issued free of charge and mailed to you.
- Contact Seniors Card Unit on 1800 819 961 (free call) or seniorscard@sa.gov.au if you need assistance or have not received your card.
