How to apply

1. Monitor your RTO's registration expiry date — the renewal application becomes available in asqanet 12 months before expiry.
2. Note the 90-day deadline: ASQA must receive your renewal application at least 90 days before your registration expiry date to guarantee continuity of registration during assessment.
3. Log in to asqanet at asqanet.asqa.gov.au and navigate to the renewal application for your organisation.
4. Complete all sections of the renewal application, confirming your current scope of registration (note: scope changes require a separate application and cannot be added during renewal).
5. Ensure your Annual Declaration on Compliance (ADC) is up to date — the ADC submission window opens 3 March each year and closes 31 March.
6. Upload required supporting evidence demonstrating ongoing compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2015 (and from July 2025, the revised Standards).
7. Submit the application via asqanet; ASQA will issue a renewal lodgement fee invoice.
8. Pay the lodgement fee promptly; ASQA will not progress the assessment until payment is confirmed.
9. Await ASQA's risk-based assessment — if submitted on time and fees paid, your registration continues in force until ASQA reaches a decision.
