How to apply

1. Read ASQA's Guide to Initial RTO Registration (Version 1.6, December 2025) available at asqa.gov.au to understand all requirements and evidence you must prepare.
2. Create an asqanet account at asqanet.asqa.gov.au if you do not already have one.
3. Log in to asqanet and select 'Registration: New application' on the home page, or navigate to VET/CRICOS Applications via the Registration menu.
4. Complete the Initial RTO Registration Application form within asqanet, listing all training products you intend to deliver in the first two years of registration.
5. Upload your completed application form and all required supporting evidence (e.g., policies, procedures, staff qualifications, facilities evidence) as prompted by the portal.
6. Submit the application; ASQA will issue a lodgement fee invoice — the current lodgement fee is $500.
7. Pay the $500 lodgement fee promptly; ASQA will not begin reviewing your application until payment is received.
8. After payment, ASQA sends a unique link for uploading additional supporting evidence files.
9. Await ASQA's risk-based assessment and decision; ASQA may conduct a pre-registration audit before making a determination.
