Section 79 Customs Warehouse Licence

Australian Border Force (ABF) licence for a warehouse to hold imported goods for longer-term storage that have not yet been cleared for home consumption, allowing deferral of import duty and taxes. The licence holder is responsible for the safe custody and accounting of the goods to the ABF's satisfaction. Warehouses storing excise equivalent goods must also be licensed by the ATO.
