Cosmetic Injector — Dentist Pathway (AHPRA Dental Practitioner)
AHPRA-registered dentists may administer cosmetic injectables provided the procedure falls within their scope of practice as defined by the Dental Board of Australia. The DBA Scope of Practice Registration Standard limits dentists to facial cosmetic injecting in the peri-oral / lower face region directly relating to dental and oromaxillofacial structures — full-face cosmetic injecting (forehead, glabella, crow's feet) generally falls outside dental scope unless additional medical training is held.
