WA Vehicle Examination — Authorised Inspection Station
A WA vehicle examination is required when licensing a previously unlicensed vehicle, transferring an interstate registration, clearing a yellow sticker defect notice, or for vehicles over a certain age in the metro area. The Welshpool Vehicle Examination Centre is closed; all examinations are now done at private Authorised Inspection Stations (AIS).
