NSW Blue Slip — Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection
A "blue slip" is a more thorough inspection required for vehicles that are unregistered, registered interstate, written-off (and being re-registered), modified or imported. It covers structural, identity and safety checks beyond a pink slip and is performed by an AUVIS — Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Station.
