WA / TAS / ACT / NT Skin Penetration Premises Registration
WA, Tasmania, the ACT and the NT each operate their own state / territory framework for skin-penetration premises but with broadly similar requirements — local council registration / notification, operator infection-control competency, and adherence to the relevant state guidelines. WA is the most explicit (Health (Skin Penetration Procedures) Regulations 1998 administered by the Department of Health); Tasmania (Public Health Act 1997); ACT (Public Health Act 1997 + Public Health (Skin Penetration) Code of Practice 2010); NT (Public and Environmental Health Act 2011).
