Skin Penetration Premises Registration — Local Council (NSW & VIC)
Any business that breaks the skin — tattooing, body piercing, electrolysis, ear piercing, acupuncture, certain beauty treatments — must register the premises with the local council. NSW operates under the Public Health Regulation 2022; Victoria under the Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2019.
