VIC VicRoads Vehicle Modification Approval (VASS / VSI)
VicRoads requires Vehicle Assessment Signatory Scheme (VASS) approval for modifications outside the National Code of Practice (VSB 14) baseline — engine swaps, suspension changes, GVM upgrades, body and chassis modifications. VASS engineers issue an Approval Certificate which the owner presents at VicRoads.
