Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) Installer endorsement — authority to repair, alter, maintain and test TMVs in healthcare, aged care, schools and early-learning centres per AS 4032.3 and the NCC Volume 3 (Plumbing Code of Australia). In Victoria, TMV work covers the repair, alteration, maintenance and testing of a thermostatic mixing valve only — it does not include the construction, installation, replacement or commissioning of a TMV. Mandatory for any facility serving children, aged or unwell users to prevent scalding.
