TAS Authorised Vehicle Inspection (AIS Tasmania)
In Tasmania, a vehicle inspection from an Approved Inspection Station (AIS) is required when registering a vehicle from interstate, re-registering an unregistered vehicle, registering a heavy vehicle (annual), or clearing a defect notice. Routine annual inspections for ongoing light-vehicle rego are not required.
