SA Vehicle Inspection Report
South Australia does not require a regular inspection for routine rego renewal on light vehicles, but a Vehicle Inspection Report from a DIT-Authorised Inspector is required when registering a vehicle previously registered in another state that is more than 3 years old and has an unladen mass of more than 4.5 tonnes, re-registering after a defect notice, registering a written-off (repairable) vehicle, or registering a heavy vehicle annually.
