NSW workers comp pays a lump sum for permanent impairment once injury is stable. Threshold: for claims made on or after 19 June 2012, 11%+ WPI for a physical injury or 15%+ WPI for a primary psychological injury. Generally one claim per injury; if you claimed before 19 June 2012 and your condition has deteriorated, one further lump sum claim may be possible.
