Type B gas appliance authorisation — covers commercial / industrial appliances (boilers, ovens, kilns, furnaces, process heaters, cogen units) per AS 3814 and AS/NZS 5601.2. Issued per appliance class and held by an Authorised Gas Worker (AGW). Mandatory for any commercial gas appliance > 10 MJ/h that is not on the Type A schedule.
