Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) — agricultural occupations

Designated Area Migration Agreements (DAMAs) are formal labour agreements between the Commonwealth and a designated area (e.g. Northern Territory, Goldfields WA, Far North Queensland, South Australia) that allow employers in that area to sponsor occupations not on the standard skilled occupation lists — often including farm managers, farm hands, abattoir workers and meat processors at concessional skill / English / age requirements.
