Carer Adjustment Payment — Catastrophic Event Lump Sum
A one-off discretionary payment for parent carers of a child under 7 who has experienced a catastrophic event such as a serious illness, accident or sudden disability requiring you to leave work to provide full-time care. Maximum payment is approximately $10,000.
