How to apply
- Check eligibility: you must have a disability, injury, or health condition that affects your ability to work, and be of working age (under 67).
- If you receive a Centrelink payment (e.g. JobSeeker or DSP), call the Centrelink Employment Services line on 132 850 to request referral to Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA).
- If you do not receive a Centrelink payment, search for an IEA provider near you at jobaccess.gov.au/provider-search and contact them directly to self-register.
- Services Australia or the provider will arrange an Employment Services Assessment (ESAt) to confirm your work capacity and eligibility for IEA support.
- Following the ESAt, choose your preferred IEA provider from the list of options in your area — Services Australia or the assessor will provide this list.
- Attend an initial interview with your chosen IEA provider so they can develop a personalised Employment Pathway Plan tailored to your needs.
- Engage with job preparation, training, and employer-matching activities delivered by your IEA provider under your pathway plan.
- If you secure employment, your IEA provider can access post-placement support funding to help you stay in work.
