VIC EPA Waste Transport Permit
Under Victoria's Environment Protection Act 2017 (in force 1 July 2021), anyone transporting "reportable priority waste" — e.g. asbestos, prescribed industrial waste, clinical, contaminated soil — generally needs a permission from EPA Victoria and must track the waste using Waste Tracker — though exceptions apply (check the waste classification), and these requirements do not apply if the net load is less than 50 litres and the waste is transported for no fee or reward.
