Under Victoria's Environment Protection Act 2017 (in force 1 July 2021), anyone transporting "reportable priority waste" — e.g. asbestos, prescribed industrial waste, clinical, contaminated soil — needs a permission from EPA Victoria and must use the EPA Waste Tracker portal for every load.
