ParentsNext was a compulsory pre-employment program for Parenting Payment Single recipients with children aged under 6. Made voluntary on 5 May 2024 after a Senate inquiry found significant harms. Replaced by Parent Pathways, a voluntary service for parents and carers of children under 6.
