NSWVICQLDSAWATASNT
Anyone with a property not connected to mains sewer needs an On-site Sewerage Management (OSSM) approval from the local council to install, alter or operate a septic / aerated system. The approval lasts the life of the system but a renewal "approval to operate" is usually issued every 3-5 years.
