DAFF Export Establishment Registration & Live Animal Exporter Licence (incl. ESCAS)
Form number: DAFF Export Licence + ESCAS
Companies exporting live animals from Australia (cattle, sheep, goats, buffalo) need a DAFF Live Animal Exporter Licence under the Export Control Act 2020 (Cth). Each market also requires an Exporter Supply Chain Assurance System (ESCAS) approval — chain-of-custody and animal-welfare assurance from departure to slaughter. Red-meat / dairy / pork / poultry processing exporters separately register the establishment under the Export Control (Meat and Meat Products) Rules 2021.
