The Grid-Connect Inverter endorsement under the CEC scheme authorises connection of solar PV inverters to the distribution grid (grid-connected battery systems must be designed and installed by a Grid Connected Battery Systems (GCBS) accreditee, and battery systems forming part of a Stand-alone Power System by an SPS accreditee) in compliance with AS/NZS 4777.1 (installation) and AS/NZS 4777.2 (inverter requirements). It is the central endorsement on a CEC accreditation; many other CEC categories build on it.
