How to apply

1. Confirm whether you are appointing a new registered agent, ceasing an existing registered agent, or updating a contact address.
2. Obtain the details of the registered agent (ASIC registered agent number, name, and contact address) if appointing.
3. Download Form 362 (PDF) from the ASIC website or access it through the ASIC company officeholder portal or registered agent portal.
4. Complete the form with company name, ACN, and the registered agent or contact address details as applicable.
5. Have a company officeholder sign a paper copy of the form.
6. Lodge online via the ASIC company officeholder portal (edge.asic.gov.au) or registered agent portal, or post the signed form to ASIC at PO Box 4000, Gippsland Mail Centre VIC 3841.
7. Retain a copy of the lodged form and confirmation for company records.
