Voluntary Income Management — Opt In
A voluntary arrangement where 50% of your Centrelink payment is quarantined onto a SmartCard / BasicsCard for essential spending (food, clothing, housing, utilities) — you cannot withdraw cash or buy alcohol, gambling or tobacco with the quarantined portion.
