VIC Sex Work Premises — Local Council Planning Permit
Victoria fully decriminalised sex work on 1 December 2023. The licensing system was abolished and sex work premises are now regulated through ordinary planning controls under the Planning and Environment Act 1987 — the same as any other business. You apply for a planning permit through your local council if your zoning needs one.
