Since the Sex Work Decriminalisation Act 2022, sex work is a protected attribute under the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic). It is unlawful to discriminate against someone in employment, accommodation, education or services because they are or were a sex worker. Lodge a complaint with VEOHRC if you have been treated unfairly.
