Trustee in Bankruptcy — Appointment & Queries

When you become bankrupt, a trustee is appointed to control your divisible assets, investigate your affairs, and pay creditors. By default this is the AFSA Official Trustee, but you can ask a registered trustee (a private insolvency professional) to manage it instead — all trustees charge fees, generally recovered from the estate. Use this process to nominate, replace, or query the conduct of a trustee.
