Support at Home — Start Services After Your Funding Letter
The Support at Home program replaced the Home Care Packages Program on 1 November 2025. If you are approved for ongoing services you are assigned one of 8 funding classifications, paid as a quarterly budget (people approved on or before 31 October 2025 keep a transitioned Home Care Package classification equivalent to their old level). Funding is allocated through the Support at Home Priority System — and once your funding letter arrives, you have 56 days to sign a service agreement with a provider and start services, or the funding is withdrawn.
