Sickness Allowance — Closed Payment / Redirect to JobSeeker
Sickness Allowance closed to new claimants on 20 March 2020 and ceased entirely on 20 September 2020. People who are temporarily unable to work due to illness or injury and who have an employer or studies to return to are now expected to claim JobSeeker Payment instead. Remaining recipients were transferred to JobSeeker (or another payment) by 20 September 2020.
