Victoria does not register cabinet making / shopfitting as a stand-alone trade. Practitioners installing fitted cabinetry as part of domestic building work over $10,000 need either a Domestic Builder — Limited registration (carpentry / cabinet making class) with the Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC) or to operate under a registered building practitioner.
