Service Agreement & Accommodation Agreement (Aged Care Home)
Two agreements cover the essential details before you enter an aged care home — they may be separate documents or combined into one. The Service Agreement (which replaced the old Resident Agreement on 1 November 2025) covers your care, services, costs and rights; the Accommodation Agreement covers your room and how you pay for it. Both must be entered into before you enter care. A third, optional Higher Everyday Living Agreement applies only if you choose extra services — and can only be signed after you enter care.
