Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) Agreement
A RAD is a lump-sum, fully-refundable interest-free deposit paid to the aged-care home for your room — typically $300k-$1.5m+ depending on facility/location. It is government-guaranteed and refunded (less any agreed deductions) when you leave or to your estate when you die.
