In the ACT, refrigeration / air-conditioning work is regulated as a class of plumbing under the Construction Occupations (Licensing) Act 2004. A Plumber's Licence (Refrigerated Air Conditioning) is issued by Access Canberra in addition to the federal ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence.
