Organic Export Certification
For organic produce to be exported labelled "organic", the producer and processor must be certified by a DAFF-approved certifying organisation under the National Standard for Organic and Bio-Dynamic Produce. The approved certifying body — not the department — then issues the organic goods certificate (the export documentation) for each consignment; DAFF regulates the export system.
