Income Maintenance Period (IMP) — Waiting Period for Redundancy / Leave Payouts
A waiting period applied when you receive a redundancy payment, leave payout or termination payment before claiming JobSeeker / Youth Allowance / Parenting Payment. The IMP delays your start date based on how many weeks of "income" the payout represents at your previous wage rate.
