Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) — VIC
VIC
In Victoria every Class 1 (high-risk, e.g. hospital / aged care food service) and Class 2 (medium risk, e.g. cafe / restaurant / takeaway) food premises must appoint a Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) and that nomination must be kept current with the local council. FSS qualification has no statewide expiry but the council registration requires an annual review of the supervisor nomination.
