In Queensland every licensable food business under the Food Act 2006 (e.g. cafes, restaurants, mobile food vans, caterers, supermarkets handling unpackaged food) must have a Food Safety Supervisor. The FSS must be reasonably available to the food handlers and must hold a current Statement of Attainment in the recognised competency units.
