Food Handler Training (Lower than FSS)
Form number: Food Handler Basics is a free, non-accredited course; SITXFSA005 is an accredited unit and not the same as Food Handler Basics. If accredited training is needed, use SITXFSA005 through an RTO or equivalent accredited course.
Food handler training (SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety) is required for staff who handle food but do not supervise. Mandatory in NSW and Vic for all Class 1 and Class 2 food business staff under Food Standards Code 3.2.2A.
