Food Handler Certification — FoodSafe / I'M ALERT (Free Council Training)
Food handler certification (basic level) is the minimum food-safety training expected of any kitchen, cafe, food-truck or canteen staff member. Several free programs are recognised — doFoodSafely (VIC, accepted nationally), I'M ALERT (council programs across states) and FoodSafe (industry). Cert IV is NOT required for general food handling.
