Fireworks Operator Licence
QLD
Fireworks operator licence for using fireworks in displays in Queensland. An operator may conduct displays only under the supervision of a fireworks contractor, and the licence allows use, possession, storage and transport of a limited quantity of fireworks for a display organised by a contractor. It does not allow the purchase of fireworks. A current Queensland Explosives Security Clearance (QESC) is required; from 1 July 2026 applications are managed through the RSHQ Portal.
