Compensation Recovery — Centrelink Preclusion Period

When you receive a personal injury compensation payment (workers comp lump sum, motor vehicle injury settlement, public liability), Centrelink applies a preclusion period during which you cannot receive most income support. The economic loss component of the lump sum is converted into "weeks of compensation".
