Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) — Service Request

CHSP helps older people access entry-level support services to live independently and safely at home — meals, cleaning, transport, personal care, nursing, allied health and more. You are eligible if you are 65 or older; or an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person aged at least 50; or homeless (or at risk of homelessness) and aged at least 50. How much you contribute depends on your ability to pay. CHSP is still a live, separate program — it will not transition to Support at Home before 1 July 2027.
