CHSP — Client Contribution & Hardship Provision

CHSP is mostly federally funded, and client contributions apply to CHSP services (with the exception of hoarding and squalor assistance). The CHSP Client Contribution Framework, published in the CHSP Manual, is a principles-based approach providers must follow when charging, collecting and reporting client contributions — it is designed so that those who can afford to contribute do so, while the most vulnerable stay protected. There is a formal hardship process if you cannot pay.
