Child Support — Change of Assessment (special circumstances)

If your circumstances mean the standard formula gives an unfair result — e.g. high private school fees, extra costs for a child with disability, income from a private trust, or a parent under-reporting income — apply for a Change of Assessment. A senior officer reviews evidence from both parents and may adjust the assessment for up to 18 months.
