Builder Licence — Class 1 / Unrestricted (Building Commission NSW)
NSW
Form number: Application for a Contractor Licence — Building (General Building Work)
Building Commission NSW issues a General Building Work contractor licence — required for any residential building work over $5,000 and for any construction over 3 storeys (Building Code Class 1 and 2). NSW does not formally use the Class 1 / Class 2 terminology of QLD and VIC but the equivalent unrestricted general building licence is the standard.
