Australian Working Life Residence (AWLR) — Pension Portability
AWLR is the period you lived in Australia between age 16 and Age Pension age. It determines how much Age Pension you can receive while overseas (proportional payment after 26 weeks abroad). Full rate proportional payment requires 35 years AWLR.
