Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) Project Registration
Under the Carbon Credits (Carbon Farming Initiative) Act 2011, landholders can register Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF) / Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) projects — soil carbon, beef herd management, savanna burning, environmental plantings, avoided clearing — to earn ACCUs that can be sold to the Government or private buyers.
